Living Proof - a campaign that tells the real story of the incredible progress being achieved by people in developing countries, backed by the support of governments like ours.
Play FreeRice and test your skill, try different categories and help end hunger while you play! For each answer you give right, 10 grains of rice are donated to WFP to help end hunger.
10 grains of rice may seem like a small amount, but it is important to remember that while you are playing, so are thousands of other people at the same time. It is everyone together that makes the difference.
The rice is paid for by the sponsors whose names you see on the bottom of your screen when you enter a correct answer. These sponsors support both learning (free education for everyone) and reducing hunger (free rice for the hungry).
FreeRice is a non-profit website run by the United Nations World Food Programme.
In Honor ofWorld Food Day Please consider a donation to the World Food Programme and make a difference today. Just $1 fills 4 cups. Click on the picture below or go to: https://www.wfp.org/donate/fillthecup

This week, the Born HIV Free campaign reached its climax. Donors from across the world met at the replenishment conference, chaired by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, to make their pledges towards The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
You made this happen. You have persuaded governments to pledged $11.7bn over three years. This is a huge number. It's a $2bn increase on 2007. It's going to help continue the fight against the three diseases and save millions of lives.
Now imagine what else you can accomplish? What other decisive battles can you win in the fight against HIV? The work isn't done, and your support is needed.
Born HIV Free will soon announce the next step you can take with them. In the meantime, watch the final video from the Born HIV Free campaign. It shows just what they achieved, together, in the last 5 months.
If we can achieve a $2bn increase in funding in 5 months, imagine what we can achieve in 5 years. By 2015, we can stop the spread of HIV transmitted from mothers to children and change the course of global health.
