The ONE Campaign - The Plan to End Malaria

The Plan to End Malaria is a 4-minute clip from the film When the Night Comes. Made in partnership with United Against Malaria, the film powerfully displays the opportunity our generation has to end deaths from this preventable disease.

"Arrest Yourself 2010" - Global Action for Aung San Suu Kyi and Burma

In Honor of Aung San Suu Kyi's 65th Birthday on June 19, 2010

Each year, The US Campaign for Burma ask supporters around the world to give up 24 hours of their time to show our solidarity with Aung San Suu Kyi and Burma. We call this global event Arrest Yourself. Ever year, hundreds of supporters from all over the world participate in this global action to bring awareness to the freedom struggle in Burma, one of the worlds longest in history.

Aung San Suu Kyi has been locked up for 15 of the last 21 years. She is one of the 2,200 political prisoners of conscience who are serving lengthy prison sentences because of their rightful political conviction and aspirations.

My Personal Experience of the INVISIBLE CHILDREN LEGACY TOUR - 3/4/2010

I was fortunate enough to attend two different Invisible Children Legacy Tour Events in my city. The first event I was so overwhelmed I could barely speak to the Invisible Children representatives afterwards. So, I went home and cried instead. I was blessed with a second chance, so I took it. Even closer to the heart, it was sponsored by our own students ministry from my church.

I got to meet Tony, one of Uganda's 'Invisible Children'. He spoke of his experience overcoming the hardships in Uganda and his hopes for the future in school. His visit was sponsored by the Invisible Children Legacy Scholarship fund which paid for his education in Uganda and allowed him to come to America to tell his story in hopes of helping other children in Uganda. I also got to meet with Richard, Tony's mentor who was more than willing to answer questions on things I did not understand in Uganda. I honestly have been so profoundly moved by these two men and want to do whatever I can to help. I recommend everyone who has the Legacy Tour coming to your town to please go attend the event. It will change your life...

A documentary, "Invisible Children: Rough Cut" is shown at the event. It was filmed in 2003 when 3 young American men went to the Sudan to find an adventure and what they found when they went south to Uganda and discovered the "Invisible Children", the victims of the LRA rebels. They do focus on this one group of young boys who hide underneath the hospital at night to avoid capture from the rebels. This group includes Tony. He told me he was 14 years old in the film, and now 21 years old.

The Legacy Tour is to introduce The Legacy Scholarship Program. It gives children a chance to attend secondary school and even university. To find out more information please go to the following link. Please help these children become future leaders and give them a chance to rebuild their legacy that were lost in the war.

MESSAGE OF ENCOURGEMENT TO INVISIBLE CHILDREN FROM ENOUGH PROJECT CO-FOUNDER JOHN PRENDERGAST - 03/03/2010

Enough Project co-founder John Prendergast offers encouragement to the Invisible Children and Resolve Uganda activists braving the cold and holding vigil, for days on end, outside Sen. Tom Coburn's office in Oklahoma City. The "Oklahoma Hold Out" aims to secure Senate passage of the LRA Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act, which Sen. Coburn (R-OK) is single-handedly blocking. To learn more, visit www.resolveuganda.org.
